Dressta SB-85 - Machine Specification

The Dresser SB-85 is an exceptional pipelayer whose design dates back to 1983 when it was created by Huta Stalowa Wola. It was the first pipelayer in the world with an impressive lifting capacity of 100 tons. Its primary application was for laying pipes on oil and gas pipeline construction sites. At the heart of the SB-85 lies the formidable Cummins QSX 15 engine that generates a potent 370 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1825 Nm at 1400 rpm. This means that the pipelayer is capable of lifting and manipulating pipes with a remarkable lifting capacity of up to 100 tons.
